About Compelled to B Well. LLC
Belinda Schlafer, LMHC, CCTP, EMDR-C
Empowering High-Risk Professionals
At Compelled to B Well, LLC, my mission is to champion the well-being of professionals at high risk of burnout, secondary traumatic stress, vicarious trauma, and moral distress.
I provide innovative resources, support, and education that foster environments prioritizing all aspects of wellness.
Belinda and Brent have dedicated themselves to addressing the pressing issue of officer wellness in law enforcement agencies. With Belinda as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, and EMDR certified, and Brent serving as the Wellness Coordinator for the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office, they bring a unique combination of expertise to their work.
Recognizing the profound impact of stress and trauma on officers’ mental health, they developed the Officer Wellness Program in 2021 in collaboration with the NYS OMH Division of Forensic Services. This program is designed to break down stigmas surrounding mental health treatment and foster an open culture within law enforcement agencies.
